What we make
Our public library explains established DBT skills in plain language. The companion app helps adults find a skill, keep local diary entries, prepare a safety plan, and create reports they choose to share.
Skillful Moment is not therapy, a medical device, a clinician, or an emergency monitoring service.
Who the library is for
The initial U.S. release is for adults age 18 and older. The guides can support learning or practice, especially alongside instruction from a qualified DBT professional, but they do not personalize care.
Privacy by design
The mobile app is designed to keep diary, safety-plan, contact, and report information on the device. Account and subscription services are kept separate from that private content. Read the complete Privacy Policy.
Editorial status
The current guides were prepared by the Skillful Moment Editorial Team using source-based, software-assisted research and editing. They have not yet been reviewed by an independent DBT clinician. Every guide says so plainly.
