Trust and transparency

Editorial policy

Health-adjacent educational content should make its sources, limits, and review status easy to see.

Sources

We prioritize original DBT manuals, official program materials, government crisis resources, and recognized professional organizations. We paraphrase and add practical examples rather than reproducing protected worksheets.

Writing and review

Guides are prepared by the Skillful Moment Editorial Team with software-assisted research and editing. Source links and safety language are checked before publication. Clinical review is pending and is never implied when it has not occurred.

Dates and updates

Each guide displays its publication date, last-updated date, and current review status. We revise pages when a source changes, a safety clarification is needed, or a qualified reviewer recommends a correction.

Claims and boundaries

We do not promise outcomes or present correlations as causes. Our content does not diagnose, prescribe, or replace individualized medical or mental-health care. Safety guidance takes priority over completing a skill.

Corrections

Send factual corrections or source concerns to editorial@skillfulmoment.com. Please do not email diary entries, crisis details, or other sensitive health information.
